Mobile Repair Engineer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Repair Engineer / Technician to join our Samsung Authorised Service Center in Lucknow. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and resolving hardware and software issues in Samsung smartphones and other supported mobile devices while following authorised service procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose hardware and software faults in smartphones and mobile devices.
- Perform repairs including display, battery, charging port, camera, speaker, microphone and other component replacements.
- Identify motherboard/PCB-level faults and carry out repairs where applicable and authorised.
- Troubleshoot issues related to charging, network, connectivity, overheating, booting, software and device performance.
- Perform software installation, updates, resets and troubleshooting using authorised diagnostic/service tools.
- Conduct pre-repair and post-repair device testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow Samsung's prescribed repair procedures, ESD precautions, quality standards and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling of customer devices, spare parts and repair tools.
- Maintain accurate repair/job records and update repair status in the service management system.
- Coordinate with the service team regarding spare-part requirements and pending repairs.
- Minimise repeat repairs by ensuring proper diagnosis and quality checks before device delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional repair workstation.
Candidate Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma / technical qualification in Electronics, Mobile Repairing or a related field preferred.
- 1–3+ years of experience in smartphone/mobile phone repair preferred.
- Strong understanding of smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience repairing Samsung/Android smartphones will be preferred.
- Knowledge of PCB-level diagnosis, soldering and component-level repair is an advantage.
- Familiarity with multimeters, soldering/rework stations, diagnostic equipment and mobile repair tools.
- Good problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills.
- Ability to follow authorised service processes and technical documentation.
- Responsible attitude towards customer devices and company inventory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a service-center environment and meet repair turnaround targets.
Preferred Candidate:
Previous experience at a Samsung Authorised Service Center or another major smartphone brand's authorised service network will be an advantage.
Compensation:
Salary: Competitive and based on technical skill, repair experience and previous authorised service-center experience.
