Role Description This full-time, on-site Rubber Technologist Executive role is based in Varanasi. The role involves developing and optimizing rubber compounds, selecting raw materials, and evaluating formulations to meet performance, cost, and quality targets. Responsibilities include supervising trial production runs, coordinating with manufacturing teams on process parameters, and resolving technical issues related to rubber products. The executive will conduct testing and analysis of physical and chemical properties, prepare technical documentation, and maintain compliance with relevant standards. The role also includes supporting business development by providing technical input for customer proposals, participating in client meetings, and identifying opportunities for new or improved rubber products.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of rubber technology, polymer science, and rubber compounding, including raw material selection and formulation design.
Experience in rubber product development, process optimization, and production support in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform laboratory testing, interpret data, and use relevant instruments and standards for rubber materials evaluation.
Skills in technical documentation, report writing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and sales.
Understanding of market requirements, customer applications, and basic principles of business development for rubber products.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills in English and local languages, and willingness to interact directly with customers and suppliers.
Prior experience in rubber manufacturing or product development will be an advantage; familiarity with quality management systems is beneficial.
