Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Talcher. The Civil Engineer will work on the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, including site assessments, preparation of drawings and reports, and coordination with project managers and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications, performing calculations, assisting in stormwater and drainage design, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves regular site visits, documentation of progress, and collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for planning, analyzing, and delivering structural and infrastructure solutions.
Planning and Stormwater Management skills for project scheduling, resource coordination, and effective drainage and water flow design.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers, coordinating tasks and sharing technical responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Proficiency with relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and MS Office tools.
Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills.
Willingness to work on-site in Talcher and conduct regular field inspections.
