Job description:
I’m seeking an experienced booking representative, booking agent, or freelance talent representative to help secure paid opportunities aligned with my work in true crime, cold cases, journalism, and criminal justice.
I’m the creator and host of Cold and Untold®, a true-crime platform focused on cold cases, including unsolved murders and missing persons in North Carolina. I’m also a journalist and former TV news reporter and anchor, author, public speaker, and civilian cold case investigator.
I’m looking for someone who can help expand the booking side of my work and bring paid opportunities to the table.
Potential opportunities include:
Speaking engagements
Author events and book festivals
Conferences
Panel moderation
Hosting and emceeing advocacy and justice-focused events and galas or anything that aligns with brand or work as a journalist
Film and documentary festivals
Other relevant live events and industry opportunities

I am not looking for someone to secure interviews, press coverage, or publicity. The focus is specifically on securing paid bookings.
Ideal candidate:
Has established industry contacts and relationships
Has experience booking speakers, hosts, moderators, authors, journalists, or similar talent
Has a demonstrated track record of securing paid opportunities
Is comfortable pitching, negotiating, and securing bookings
Is proactive and able to work independently

Compensation:
20% commission on paid bookings you directly secure*
No upfront fee or monthly retainer
Commission is paid after payment is received for a secured booking.
