Role Description The Robot Programmer / Robotics Engineer role involves designing, developing, and programming robotic systems for industrial and automation projects. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing robot programs, integrating robots with sensors and control systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and optimizing performance for safety, accuracy, and throughput. The role also includes collaborating with clients to understand process requirements, creating technical documentation, and supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance of robotic cells on-site. This is an on-site role located in the Pune District.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for robotics applications, using languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
Experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development for control interfaces, APIs, or data integration with robotic systems.
Knowledge of industrial robotics platforms (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa) and PLCs or other industrial controllers is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with control systems, motion planning, sensors, and safety standards in automation environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and process documentation.
Effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
