Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Web Developer at Aritra Digimedia. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites, working across both front-end and back-end components as needed. Typical responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating APIs, optimizing site performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role also involves collaborating with designers and project managers, troubleshooting technical issues, and following best practices in coding, security, and documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Web Design to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming to create robust, secure, and scalable application logic.
Candidates should possess skills in overall Web Development to integrate front-end and back-end components into cohesive solutions.
Experience with modern web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one framework or library) is beneficial.
Familiarity with version control tools, testing practices, and basic security principles is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting are beneficial.
Relevant education or proven professional experience in software development, computer science, or a related field is beneficial.
