Role Overview:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Python-based backend development, Odoo technical development, PostgreSQL, APIs, and modern AI/LLM technologies. The candidate should understand the complete backend flow from UI and Odoo modules to business logic, database, integrations, and AI-powered features.
Duties
Develop, customize, and maintain backend applications using Python.
Develop business modules, models, workflows, scheduled jobs, and backend processes in Odoo.
Work with Odoo ORM, PostgreSQL, XML views, security rules, access rights, and technical settings.
Design and optimize database structures, queries, relationships, and data processing.
Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot backend issues, analyze logs, and identify root causes.
Design and implement AI/LLM-based backend features using appropriate models and APIs.
Create and optimize prompts, system instructions, templates, and structured outputs for LLM-based applications.
Work with LLMs such as OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and open-source models such as Llama.
Implement use cases such as text generation, summarization, classification, extraction, document processing, chatbots, and AI-assisted workflows.
Integrate AI services with Odoo, databases, APIs, and existing business applications.
Evaluate AI outputs and improve prompts for accuracy, consistency, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Maintain technical documentation, code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable backend solutions.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient Python code.
Develop and customize modules based on business requirements.
Manage PostgreSQL data models and ensure efficient database operations.
Build reliable APIs and system integrations.
Understand and maintain the complete flow: UI → Odoo → Business Logic → ORM → PostgreSQL → APIs/AI Services.
Design effective prompts and AI workflows based on specific business requirements.
Select and work with appropriate LLM models, APIs, parameters, and context strategies.
Ensure AI-generated outputs are structured, validated, and suitable for integration into business processes.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, functional, and business teams.
Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
Follow Git, coding, documentation, and deployment standards.
Continuously explore new LLM, prompt engineering, and AI integration techniques relevant to backend applications.
