Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design team in developing architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and 3D models for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing plans, sections, elevations, and presentation layouts, assisting with material and product research, and coordinating with senior architects on design revisions. The role involves participating in site visits, documenting existing conditions, and helping ensure that designs align with building codes and project requirements. The Junior Architect will collaborate with consultants and contractors as needed to support smooth project execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bharuch.
Qualifications
Formal education in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) with a strong foundation in design principles and building construction.
Proficiency with architectural design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar 2D/3D software).
Ability to create clear drawings, visualizations, and presentations, including basic rendering and layout skills.
Understanding of building codes, regulations, and local standards, with an interest in sustainable and context-sensitive design.
Strong observational and documentation skills for site visits, measurements, and condition assessments.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with capacity to take feedback and work under guidance from senior architects.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Prior internship or junior-level experience in an architecture or design studio is an advantage but not mandatory.
