Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our award-winning team remotely.
This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing infrastructure electric design in the different project design stages.
We envisage success in this role to include:
Preparing and reviewing the design of power distribution infrastructure (Medium and Low Voltage distribution).
Preparing and reviewing the design of lighting design (streetlight).
Preparing and reviewing the design of telecom infrastructure duct routing.
Ensuring all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.
Coordination and day-to-day coaching to junior staff within this discipline.
Coordinating and giving technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models.
Preparing and reviewing technical reports, design drawings, and other deliverables.
Managing the discipline’s team.
Monitoring the technical quality of the projects to ensure that the projects delivered to Clients are of the highest technical quality and engineering practice standard.
Coordinating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.
Liaising with the Client and Authority representatives to obtain design approvals, as necessary.
Providing discipline’s input for technical proposals for submission to external parties.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.
This opportunity is open - Remote (Outside of the GCC or nations that KEO does not have office locations in).
Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
Proven experience in the infrastructure electric design.
Experience with Dialux, ETAP and other power systems software is an advantage.
Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office.
Knowledge in BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D is an advantage.
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
