Role Description The Counselor role is a temporary, on-site position located in the Greater Delhi Area, supporting students of Mission School Nougaon Almora. The Counselor will provide individual and group counseling to help students manage academic, personal, and social challenges. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, maintaining confidential records, coordinating with teachers and families, and facilitating workshops or guidance sessions on topics such as stress management, study skills, and career awareness. The role also involves identifying students who may need additional support, referring them to appropriate resources, and contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in student counseling, guidance, and emotional support within a school or educational setting.

Organizational skills for managing sessions, maintaining accurate and confidential records, and planning workshops or group activities.
Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in psychology, counseling, education, or a related field.
Familiarity with child and adolescent development, basic safeguarding practices, and ethical standards in counseling.
