Role Description The Business Development Intern will support HOPn UG in identifying growth opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding market presence across IT services, consulting, e-learning, and events. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, assisting with lead generation campaigns, preparing presentations and proposals, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support outreach initiatives, follow up with prospective clients, and contribute to business development strategies. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication, time management, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data, business trends, and performance metrics.
Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Lead generation and market research skills to identify prospects, segments, and potential partnerships.
Customer service skills to support relationship building, respond to inquiries, and maintain a professional client experience.
Interest in business development within IT services, consulting, e-learning, or event management; prior internship or project experience is a plus.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or databases) and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
