Role Description The Loan Advisor role is a full-time hybrid position based in Indore, with some flexibility for work from home. The Loan Advisor will guide customers through the loan application process, explain product options, assess eligibility, and ensure timely completion of documentation. Daily tasks include responding to customer inquiries, collecting and verifying financial information, coordinating with underwriting teams, and tracking applications from initiation to disbursal. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards, and providing clear, professional communication across phone, email, and in-person interactions. The Loan Advisor will contribute to achieving portfolio and service quality targets while delivering a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Loans and lending processes, with the ability to explain different loan products clearly.
Proven Customer Service skills, including patience, problem-solving, and client relationship management.
Effective Communication skills in spoken and written English and local languages as applicable.
Basic to intermediate understanding of Finance concepts, credit evaluation, and risk awareness.
Exposure to or familiarity with Underwriting principles, documentation review, and compliance checks.
Relevant experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services is preferred.
Comfort with using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software.
Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Indore, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets ethically.
