Role Description The Operations Manager (Remote) at Finlay Plumbing Services Pty Ltd is a full-time, on-site role based in San Luis Obispo, CA. Qualifications
Demonstrated operations management experience, preferably in plumbing, construction, facilities, or a related trade services environment.
Strong skills in scheduling, resource allocation, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
Proficiency with business and operations software (e.g., job management systems, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and reporting tools).
Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting.
Effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with field teams and clients.
Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
Ability to analyze data, identify operational issues, and develop practical solutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to plumbing and trade services operations.
High level of reliability, accountability, and comfort working on-site in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Experience building and refining standard operating procedures and documentation.
Relevant education or training in business administration, operations management, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience will be considered.
