Field Services Engineer

Role Description The Field Services Engineer role at Hopewind is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bikaner, BESS & PV plant installing, commissioning, and configuring equipment and systems at customer sites, performing routine and corrective maintenance, and ensuring reliable operation of Hopewind products. The Field Services Engineer will diagnose technical issues, provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, and coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve complex problems. The role involves delivering professional technical support, training end users on proper operation and care, and maintaining accurate service records, reports, and documentation. This position requires regular customer interaction, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to timely, high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
Strong field service capabilities, including on-site installation, commissioning, and system configuration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Experience performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build positive relationships.
Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in Electrical& Electronics engineering discipline).
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
Comfort with using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and standard office software for reporting and documentation.
Willingness to travel within the region, work in field environments, and comply with all safety and quality procedures.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
