The Head Haberdashery role exists to provide strategic, administrative, and functional leadership for the Haberdashery concept store, positioning it as a premium lifestyle and experiential retail destination. The role contributes to the organisation’s objectives by driving brand positioning, customer experience excellence, footfall growth, team capability, and commercial performance, while establishing Haberdashery as a distinctive, aspirational concept aligned with global fashion and lifestyle trends.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Premium Brand Positioning & Store Experience
Create and sustain a luxury, experiential retail environment aligned with premium global brands
Ensure high standards of branding, visual merchandising, ambience, and presentation
Footfall Growth & Concept Awareness
Conceptualise and execute initiatives to increase store footfall
Drive awareness of the unique Haberdashery concept through events, collaborations, and promotions
Operational Excellence & Governance
Oversee end-to-end store operations including inventory, logistics, HR, and facilities
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning with strong administrative and control discipline
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, manage, train, and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
Build a service-oriented culture delivering exceptional customer experience
Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management
Build strong relationships with premium customers, designers, chefs, suppliers, and media
Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance
Key Decisions this job will facilitate
Strategic decisions on store positioning, customer experience design, and brand representation
Decisions on footfall generation strategies, events, collaborations, and awareness initiatives
Operational decisions covering inventory levels, staffing, visual merchandising, and resource allocation
Talent decisions related to team hiring, training, performance management, and capability development
Partnering decisions with designers, chefs, suppliers, and premium ecosystem stakeholders
Educational Qualifications : Management Graduate from a reputed institute (preferred)
Relevant Experience : 5–7 years of experience in leadership roles within premium boutiques, luxury retail stores, or lifestyle concept environments, preferably as a Store Head / Vertical Lead / Second-in-Command
Technical & Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of luxury retail operations, brand management, visual merchandising, and customer experience design
Exposure to inventory management, logistics, and retail operations controls
Sound commercial and business acumen
Skills
Ability to relate to and manage premium brands and high-end customers
Strong leadership, team-building, and people-development skills
Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal capabilities
Ability to innovate and conceptualise new retail experiences
IT orientation and comfort with retail systems and reporting
