About POLRIX
POLRIX is an AI-native Financial Settlement OS and Energy Intelligence platform for commercial real estate. Legacy Building Management Systems (BMS) are bloated, requiring massive capital expenditure and 12–18 months of operational downtime. We are shifting commercial real estate from hardware-heavy retrofits to cloud-native AI. Through Algorithmic Hardware Substitution, we deploy a single edge gateway and use high-frequency 50Hz signal processing (NILM) to mathematically disaggregate a building’s electrical wave. We instantly isolate mechanical loads, track transient shifts between the ₹7/kWh Grid and ₹28/kWh Diesel Generator backup, and automate utility ledgers for enterprise asset managers.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Electrical Engineer to own the physical reality of our edge-to-cloud pipeline. You will be the critical bridge between our time-series AI algorithms and the chaotic, physical reality of Indian commercial power grids.
You won’t just be sitting behind a desk. You will be in the basement LT switchgear rooms of massive tech parks, architecting our zero-downtime, 4-hour hardware deployment kits and ensuring our raw electrical telemetry is flawless.
What You Will Do (The 90-Day Mandate):
Zero-Downtime Deployments: Standardize and execute the physical installation of split-core CT sensors and Industrial IoT Edge Gateways directly inside live electrical panels.
Asset Ground-Truth: Conduct rapid electrical and energy due diligence at client sites across NCR.
Architecture Mapping: Map complex power distribution architectures, including LT panels, Transformers, UPS, and Automatic Transfer Switches for Diesel Generators.
The Subterranean Edge: Work with our AI Architects to commission local edge gateways that can buffer data in cellular dead zones, configuring necessary Modbus RTU (RS-485) and IP/LAN network settings to ensure zero packet loss.
Data Validation: Handle CT/PT ratio configurations and validate raw meter data to ensure our algorithms are ingesting clean, accurate mechanical inrush signatures.
The Technical DNA We Need:
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of highly practical, hands-on experience.
Deep expertise in electrical wiring, cable dressing, and termination inside massive commercial panels.
Proven ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot complex Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for Grade-A buildings.
Hands-on experience integrating energy meters using Modbus RTU (RS-485) and BACnet communication protocols.
A firm understanding of energy KPIs, CAFM concepts, and legacy BMS/SCADA systems.
The "0-to-1" Reality Check: We are a pre-seed startup. You will not have a massive team of technicians to delegate to on day one. You must be willing to get your hands dirty, troubleshoot hardware in real-time, and act as a foundational builder of our field deployment strategy.
