We’re replacing the card machine. The plastic card moved from our wallets to our phones, but we still wait for someone to bring us a machine to pay.
Digital Fox lets guests pay directly from their phones. We’re growing, and we want to make this the normal way to pay in restaurants, cafés and bars across Europe.
We’re looking for a developer who wants to continue building that company with us.
You want responsibility and the freedom to make decisions.
You find problems, work out what matters and get things done without waiting for instructions.
You care how the product works for the person using it, not just whether your code runs.
You stay with a problem until it’s solved, including the boring parts.
You work hard, question our ideas, admit mistakes and help your teammates.
Our tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js ( NestJS ), NextJS and PostgreSQL, build and consume REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems. Our infrastructure runs on Azure. Experience with them helps, but we care more about strong programming skills, how quickly you learn and how you work.
There’s a lot to build, and success isn’t guaranteed.
You’ll help decide what we build and how we build it.
We want someone who understands the risk, believes this is worth doing and enjoys figuring things out with other people.
We take the work seriously, but we want to have fun doing it together.
We offer market-level pay and a very generous employee stock option plan (ESOP).
