Role Description This full-time Junior Architect role is an on-site position based in Dindigul. The Junior Architect will support project teams in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and producing detailed architectural documentation. Daily responsibilities include assisting with design development, creating 2D and 3D models, coordinating with senior architects, and updating plans based on feedback. The role also involves collaborating with consultants, helping with basic project coordination tasks, and ensuring that design work aligns with project requirements, standards, and timelines. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, contribute to presentations, and maintain organized project files and records.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to support concept development and detailed drawings.
Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, digital workflows, and coordination of project information.
Basic Project Management skills, including task organization, time management, and coordination with team members.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a studio environment and during site interactions.
Interest in sustainable design, local building practices, and relevant codes and standards is an advantage.
