Parttime Accountant

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Lucknow. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry of financial transactions, and maintenance of ledgers and records. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting in tax and statutory compliance, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports. The role may involve reconciling bank accounts, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining organized documentation for client files. The position requires regular collaboration with senior team members to ensure that client accounts remain accurate, up to date, and compliant.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, reconciliation, and familiarity with basic financial statements.
Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Tally or similar platforms, MS Excel, and digital record-keeping systems.
Candidates should possess knowledge of local taxation rules, GST, TDS, and compliance procedures related to filings and statutory requirements.
Candidates should possess good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain high accuracy in financial data.
Candidates should possess effective communication and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines.
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in an accounting or audit firm, or in a similar part-time accounting role, will be considered an advantage.
