Head of Operations

Role Description The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Pune, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities across manufacturing, This role manages production planning, process optimization, and resource utilization to ensure on-time delivery, quality adherence, and cost efficiency. The Head of Operations will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational strategies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support compliance with safety and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, managing budgets, leading and mentoring operations teams, and resolving operational issues in real time. The role also involves aligning operations with business goals, supporting scalability, and contributing to long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills, including production planning, process improvement, and supply chain coordination.
Advanced Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, performance tracking, and problem-solving.
Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience leading diverse teams and fostering a collaborative culture.
Excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with manufacturing, engineering, service, and leadership stakeholders.
Significant experience in manufacturing or automotive/trucking industry operations; experience with automated production lines is an advantage.
Knowledge of quality management systems and standards; familiarity with ISO-certified environments is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Pune with a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges and supporting continuous improvement.
