Job Description – SAP ABAP Developer
Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Experience: 6+ Years

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA, RAP, CDS Views, OData, and IDocs. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting SAP applications in an S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP Objects.
Design and develop solutions using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
Develop and optimize CDS Views, including associations, annotations, and performance optimization.
Work on IDoc development, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and workflows.
Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Perform S/4HANA custom development and remediation of legacy ABAP code.
Analyze and optimize programs for HANA performance.
Develop reusable and scalable technical solutions following SAP best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, defect resolution, and production support.
Prepare technical specifications and relevant development documentation.
Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows coding standards.
Mandatory Skills:
6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
Strong hands-on experience in ABAP and ABAP Objects
Good experience in SAP S/4HANA
Hands-on experience with RAP
Strong knowledge of CDS Views
Experience in OData services
Strong experience with IDocs
Good understanding of SAP integration concepts
Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills
Good to Have:
AMDP and SQLScript
BAPI/RFC/Web Services
Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, and BADIs
Experience with S/4HANA migration/conversion projects
Knowledge of SAP clean-core principles
Exposure to Eclipse/ADT
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
