Role Description The Python Developer role at Griffso is a full-time remote position focused on building and maintaining scalable backend services and AI-driven platforms. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize Python-based applications and APIs that power SaaS products, automation workflows, and intelligent systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and integrate with databases and external services. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, implementing object-oriented designs, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and participating in code reviews to maintain quality and performance. You will also contribute to improving system architecture, deployment practices, and documentation to support ongoing scalability and reliability.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Background in Software Development, covering application design, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD practices is beneficial.
Knowledge of building scalable, secure, and performant systems, ideally in SaaS or AI-powered product environments.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
