Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC machining role based in Allahabad. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting technical blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and materials, performing machine adjustments, and maintaining accurate production records. The role involves inspecting finished parts for quality, performing basic machine maintenance, and collaborating with supervisors and engineers to resolve production or quality issues. The CNC Machinist is also expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics, and CNC programs.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling, turning, or grinding machines in a production environment.
Knowledge of basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality inspection practices.
Understanding of machining processes, cutting parameters, tooling selection, and material properties.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and correct machining issues.
Commitment to workplace safety, adherence to standard operating procedures, and proper use of PPE.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with supervisors.
Minimum of a vocational diploma, ITI, or equivalent certification in machining, mechanical, or related discipline; prior CNC machining experience is preferred.
Willingness to work full-time on-site in Allahabad and adapt to shift schedules as required.
