Your Role: Own the Challenge
Demand forecasting and planning — Analyzing market trends and historical data to predict future demand and develop accurate production or service plans.
Resource allocation — Determining and allocating necessary resources (materials, labor, equipment, budget) to meet planned objectives and timelines.
Schedule development and management — Creating detailed timelines and schedules for projects, production, or operations, and monitoring adherence to these schedules.
Performance monitoring and optimization — Tracking plan execution against targets, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and meet organizational goals.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
Analytical and quantitative skills — Strong ability to analyze data, forecasts, and metrics; proficiency with planning tools, ERP systems, and data analysis software.
Planning and supply chain knowledge — Deep understanding of planning processes, demand forecasting, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
Communication and collaboration — Ability to work across departments (sales, operations, finance), communicate clearly with stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving and decision-making — Capability to identify planning issues, develop solutions, manage conflicts, and make informed decisions under pressure and with incomplete information.
