SAP BASIS Administrator – Contract

Duration: 12 months, with potential extension
Environment: SAP S/4HANA and additional SAP technologies
Role Overview
We are looking for a 7+ years' experience SAP BASIS professional with strong hands-on experience in SAP administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical operations across S/4HANA and other SAP landscapes.
The candidate should be comfortable independently managing day-to-day BASIS operations as well as supporting technical projects, upgrades, integrations, and production issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Hands-on BASIS administration and support of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP environments.
* SAP technical maintenance activities including kernel upgrades, Support Packages, patches, upgrades, and system refreshes/copies.
* Strong experience with SAP HANA from a BASIS administration and troubleshooting perspective.
* Manage and troubleshoot SAP interfaces, including RFC, IDoc, web services, APIs, and related connectivity issues.
* Hands-on administration and troubleshooting of SAP Fiori / Gateway, including OData and Fiori Launchpad issues.
* Manage SAP transports and landscape activities across development, QA, and production.
* Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application servers, connectivity, performance, jobs, dumps, locks, and system availability.
* Support SAP Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, SSO/SAML, and related technical integrations.
* Participate in SAP technical upgrades, migrations, integration projects, and other BASIS initiatives.
* Collaborate with functional, infrastructure, database, security, integration, and application teams to resolve technical issues.
* Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of SAP operations.
Required Skills
* 7+ years of hands-on SAP BASIS experience.
* Strong S/4HANA and HANA experience.
* Strong Fiori/Gateway administration experience.
* Strong SAP interface and integration troubleshooting experience.
* Experience with SAP technical upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and migrations.
* Experience supporting multiple SAP products/technologies beyond S/4HANA.
* Strong production troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of BASIS operations.
Preferred: Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud ALM/Solution Manager, SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, and RISE with SAP/Private Cloud.
