Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Bengaluru South. The Carpenter will construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, including cabinets, doors, frames, partitions, and custom furniture. Daily responsibilities include measuring and cutting materials, assembling components, performing framing and finish carpentry, and ensuring accurate and neat installations at client locations. The role also involves selecting and using appropriate hand tools and power tools, reading drawings or work instructions, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong practical skills in Carpentry for construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
Ability to safely operate Power Tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
Experience with Framing work for walls, partitions, doors, and structural elements.
Proficient use of Hand Tools including hammers, chisels, measuring tapes, levels, and screwdrivers.
Finish Carpentry skills for detailed work such as trim, moldings, cabinetry, and fine surface finishing.
Knowledge of basic measurements, layout, and interpretation of simple drawings or plans.
Understanding of workplace safety practices and proper use of protective equipment.
Previous experience in residential or commercial interior woodwork is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage physical tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry or a related trade is an advantage.
