Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist to support the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's Total Rewards strategy. The role will focus on compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, salary structure design, incentive programs, and rewards policies to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing compensation frameworks, conducting market benchmarking, supporting annual compensation reviews, and managing Total Rewards initiatives within a fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
Lead the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
Develop and drive compensation and total rewards strategies aligned with business objectives, talent strategy, and market competitiveness.
Design, develop, and administer Compensation & Benefits policies and programs.
Support the organization's Total Rewards strategy aligned with business objectives.
Conduct compensation benchmarking using market surveys (Mercer, Aon, WTW, Radford, Korn Ferry, etc.).
Perform market pricing and salary competitiveness analysis.
Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and salary revisions.
Develop salary structures, compensation frameworks, and pay philosophies.
Prepare compensation proposals for leadership and critical hires.
Total Rewards
Design and administer Total Rewards programs.
Develop and review rewards frameworks and recognition programs.
Design and implement Long-Term Incentive (LTI) and Short-Term Incentive (STI) programs.
Support the design and governance of variable pay and incentive plans.
Recommend improvements to Total Rewards policies based on market trends.
Job Evaluation & Organization Design
Conduct job evaluation and job grading exercises.
Support job architecture, job leveling, and role mapping initiatives.
Ensure consistency and internal equity across job families and salary bands.
Compensation Analytics
Develop compensation dashboards and MIS reports.
Analyze compensation trends and provide actionable insights.
Prepare reports for leadership reviews and compensation planning.
Perform workforce and compensation analytics.
Policy & Governance
Draft and update Compensation & Benefits policies.
Design Total Rewards documentation, guidelines, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
Ensure compliance with internal compensation governance standards.
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation-related decisions.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Business Leaders on compensation matters.
Support compensation decisions during hiring, promotions, and internal movements.
Provide compensation recommendations based on market intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
8-12 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards.
Experience in Corporate C&B, Total Rewards, COE
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
