Role Description The Associate will handle day-to-day legal work, including drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing legal opinions, and supporting litigation or transactional matters as required. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing statutes and case law, managing case files, and coordinating with senior lawyers on strategy and client communication. The role also involves attending client meetings, assisting in negotiations, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular office presence and close collaboration with the firm’s legal team.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical abilities, with proficiency in interpreting statutes, regulations, and case law.
Excellent drafting and review skills for contracts, pleadings, opinions, and other legal documents.
Effective communication and client-handling skills, including clear written and verbal communication and professional correspondence.
Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and maintain organized and accurate case files.
Proficiency with standard office software and legal research tools; comfort working with digital document management systems.
Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution; bar enrollment or eligibility to practice law.
Demonstrated professional ethics, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering practical, timely solutions.
Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is an advantage.
