Role Description The Assembly Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical and electromechanical assembly activities for agricultural machinery and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with production and quality teams, troubleshooting assembly issues, and ensuring that all equipment is assembled according to technical specifications, safety standards, and production schedules. The role involves optimizing assembly processes, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with design and maintenance teams to improve manufacturability and reliability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Junagadh, requiring regular presence on the shop floor and close interaction with cross-functional departments.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Assembly and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly procedures.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electronics, including basic wiring, sensors, and integration of electrical components with mechanical systems.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to review designs, suggest improvements, and support manufacturability assessments.
Candidates should possess understanding of Automation concepts related to assembly lines, fixtures, and production equipment.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience in manufacturing or agricultural equipment assembly is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards are required.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
