Role Description The SolidWorks Designer role at BRDE AUTOMATION PVT. LTD. is a full-time, on-site position based in Manesar. The designer will create and modify 3D models and detailed engineering drawings in SolidWorks for mechanical components, assemblies, and automation systems. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs, performing basic design calculations, and ensuring drawings comply with industry standards. The role involves updating documentation, supporting R&D activities for new products or custom solutions, and coordinating with production and procurement teams to address design-related queries. The designer is expected to maintain organized project files, meet project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related design tools.
Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and Machine Design for creating accurate 2D drawings and robust mechanical assemblies.
Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, including materials, tolerances, and basic design calculations.
Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D) to support design optimization and new product or system development.
Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, design for assembly and fabrication, and familiarity with industrial automation systems.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration are preferred.
Experience with similar on-site industrial or automation projects in Manesar or comparable hubs will be an advantage.
