Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Solar Photovoltaic Trainer role based in Maharashtra, India, with some flexibility for work from home. The trainer will deliver high-quality training sessions on solar photovoltaic systems, including system design, installation, operation, and maintenance, to students and early-career professionals. Day-to-day activities include preparing curriculum and lesson plans, developing learning materials and assessments, conducting classroom and practical lab sessions, and demonstrating safe and effective use of tools and equipment. The role involves mentoring learners, answering technical questions, evaluating performance, and providing constructive feedback. The trainer will also collaborate with academic partners and internal teams to keep course content aligned with current industry standards and emerging solar technologies.
Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Experience in teaching, training, or facilitation, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes, and best practices in renewable energy installations.
Ability to develop structured training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and at least one regional language preferred.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person and online training sessions.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, renewable energy, electrical/solar technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in solar PV or renewable energy training are an advantage.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and interest in green energy initiatives.
Ability to work collaboratively with academic institutions and cross-functional teams.
