Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Hyderabad. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic treatments. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical procedures, maintaining accurate and timely patient records, educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment options, and collaborating with dental assistants and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. The dentist will follow all infection control protocols, adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines, and participate in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives. The role may also involve advising on treatment fees, coordinating follow-up care, and contributing to community outreach or patient education programs as needed.
Qualifications
Recognized dental degree (BDS /MDS or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate dental council.
Demonstrated clinical competence in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, preventive care, basic endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Strong skills in patient communication, counseling, and education, with an emphasis on building trust and explaining treatment options clearly.
Commitment to strict infection control practices, safety protocols, and adherence to professional, legal, and ethical standards in dentistry.
Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff, contributing to a respectful, team-oriented environment.
Good organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining detailed clinical records and managing appointments efficiently.
Willingness to engage in continuing education, stay updated with advances in dental materials and techniques, and adopt relevant new technologies.
Prior clinical experience in a dental practice or clinic setting is preferred; experience treating diverse patient populations is an advantage.
