Tax Partner(HNW) - $300K + RELO

We service our clients primarily in the New York Metro area, as well as nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).
We've partnered with a top 50 advisory firm to help identify experienced Tax Director / Tax Partner to join its growing Boise. Idaho tax practice. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working with sophisticated clients, leading teams, providing strategic tax advice, and helping grow client relationships.
The role will work with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, multi-entity businesses, and cross-border organizations, providing complex tax planning and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex tax engagements from planning through compliance.
Advise clients on M&A, business succession, entity structuring, and long-term tax planning.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, HNW individuals, and family offices.
Collaborate with specialists across international tax, SALT, estate planning, assurance, and advisory.
Lead, mentor, and develop managers and senior tax professionals.
Build and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Participate in business development, proposals, pricing, and expanding existing client relationships.
Stay current on tax legislation and emerging issues and provide guidance to clients and the firm.
Help contribute to the continued growth and development of the Boise tax practice.
Qualifications:
10+ years of tax experience.
CPA license or eligibility preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local taxation.
Experience with sophisticated tax planning involving HNW individuals, privately held businesses, multi-entity structures, and/or cross-border operations.
Experience with M&A, succession planning, and entity structuring is highly valued.
Proven ability to lead and develop tax professionals.
Strong client relationship and business development skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
