QA Engineer

We are hiring a QA Engineer.
Akvasoft builds production software for SaaS startups and scaleups. Small teams, direct contact with founders, real ownership.
What you will do
Own quality for the products you are on, from first working version to production
Write and maintain automated tests: end-to-end, API, and regression
Test manually where automation does not reach, and know the difference
Learn the customer's industry well enough to spot what would break for a real user, not just what fails a test case
Work directly with founders and engineers to catch problems before customers do
Use AI tools to write and review tests faster, and check what they produce
What we need
Experience testing web applications you have shipped
Automation with Playwright, Cypress or similar
API testing and basic scripting in JavaScript or Python
Comfortable reading code, filing clear bugs, and pushing back when something is not ready
You finish what you start and do not wait for a full spec
Not for you if you want to run someone else's test plan.
Every project is a different industry. Your job is to think like the customer in each one.
