Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Music Teacher role based in Mumbai. The Music Teacher will plan and deliver structured music lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum for various grade levels. Daily responsibilities include teaching music theory, guiding individual and group performance practice, and preparing learners for recitals, assemblies, and school events. The role involves assessing student progress, maintaining records, and providing constructive feedback to support skill development. The Music Teacher will also collaborate with other teachers on integrated projects, manage music resources and instruments, and contribute to the overall cultural and artistic life of the school.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Music Theory and general Music concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Music Performance and practical application of musical techniques.
Candidates should possess expertise in Music Education and experience designing age-appropriate learning activities.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Piano and the ability to use it for instruction and accompaniment.
Formal training in music (diploma or degree) from a recognized institution is preferred.
Prior teaching experience in a school or educational setting is beneficial.
Ability to work with diverse learners, maintain an inclusive classroom, and communicate clearly with students and families.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to student wellbeing and professional ethics.
