Role Description The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural elements for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing structural analysis, preparing design calculations, developing drawings and details using CAD tools, and coordinating with architects, site engineers, and other project stakeholders. The role involves reviewing project requirements, participating in design reviews, providing technical support during construction, and updating designs based on site feedback or changes in scope. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thrissur, requiring regular interaction with the design office and project sites.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical design problems.
Proficiency in Structural Analysis, including load calculations, member design, and use of relevant codes and standards.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD, for preparing and modifying structural drawings and details.
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Familiarity with construction practices, materials, and site procedures; prior experience in building or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Thrissur and collaborate closely with project teams and clients.
