Part-time Online English Instructor

We are looking for a part-time online English instructor for one-on-one lessons!
I am the founder of OUCHI EDU, operating Epura (EIGO PLAZA), an online English learning community for Japanese learners.
Epura provides structured English learning through original courses, AI-powered practice tools, live online lessons, and one-on-one lessons.
We are currently looking for an instructor who can offer one-on-one lessons during weekday daytime hours in Japan.
Please note before applying:
Epura is still a small and growing community, and the number of one-on-one bookings is currently very limited. There may be only a few lessons per month, and there may also be weeks with no bookings at all.
This position would be a good fit for someone who is happy to teach occasionally when bookings come in, rather than someone looking for a regular or substantial number of teaching hours.
About the role:
Remote position
Philippines-based instructors preferred
One-on-one online English lessons for Japanese adult learners
25 minutes per lesson
Lessons are offered based on student bookings
We are especially looking for instructors who can regularly open availability during weekday daytime hours in Japan
Compensation: $4 USD per 25-minute one-on-one lesson
No guaranteed minimum number of lessons
A paid monthly meeting/training session is required (approximately 30 minutes, $3 USD per session)
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience teaching English online
Is comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate Japanese learners
Is patient, friendly, and supportive
Can help learners feel comfortable speaking English
Is reliable and checks lesson bookings regularly
Is comfortable with a small and irregular number of bookings while Epura continues to grow
Epura is still growing, so there may be opportunities for more lessons in the future as our membership increases.
