Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial activities and strategies of the organization. This position leads financial planning and budgeting, manages financial reporting and analysis, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. The CFO partners with executive leadership to guide long-term financial strategy, capital allocation, and risk management, while supporting data-driven decision-making across the business. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, overseeing accounting and controllership functions, managing relationships with banking and financial partners, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The CFO also leads and develops the finance team, implements process improvements, and supports initiatives that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in corporate finance leadership and strategic financial management.
Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.
Expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity in internal and external reports.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Proven experience in cash flow management, capital structure optimization, and risk management.
Background in payments, financial services, or technology-driven commerce solutions is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team development, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across distributed teams.
