Graphic Designer (voluntary)

Company Description: Nature Network Ireland is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation dedicated to protecting and promoting Ireland’s wildlife through education, research, and conservation. The group focuses on restoring healthy ecosystems for both wildlife and human communities, emphasising public awareness and participation in conservation efforts.
Role Description: This is a voluntary, part-time remote role for a Graphic Designer at Nature Network Ireland. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, website visuals, educational resources, and promotional campaigns that support conservation and outreach projects.
The role involves collaborating with volunteers and project leads to understand design needs, incorporating feedback, and delivering clear, engaging visuals that align with the organisation’s mission. Scheduling is flexible, and work can be completed remotely with periodic online meetings.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics creation for digital and print materials.
Proficiency in Typography and layout design for clear, readable communication.
Ability to use common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar software).
Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to translate complex information into engaging visuals.
Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating in a remote, volunteer-based team.
Genuine interest in nature conservation, environmental communication, or community-based projects.
Previous experience in non-profit or volunteer roles is an asset but not required.
