Front-End Development (Equity to Pay)

We are building a new company/product within the financial planning / wealth management space. Progress is good and we are looking to bring a front-end developer who knows how to use AI everyday to deliver at lightning speed and with good quality/output.
The role is for an early employee hence remuneration will be on an equity basis and moving to a paid position post funding.
Role Description As a Front-End Lead (Equity to Pay) in Wealth Management at Finden, you will design and implement user-facing features for our AI-driven platform in a remote capacity. You will own front-end and some back-end architecture, ensure scalable and maintainable code, and collaborate closely with product, design, and back-end teams to deliver intuitive and performant interfaces for wealth management workflows.
Daily responsibilities include reviewing and writing production-ready code, mentoring front-end engineers, defining UI/UX standards, and aligning technical decisions with product goals and accessibility best practices. You will also work with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, improve usability, and contribute to documentation and training materials that support successful product adoption. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who is comfortable balancing strategic ownership with active development.QualificationsStrong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or similar), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
Solid Software Development experience with scalable architecture, code review, testing practices, and collaboration in agile environments.
Excellent Communication skills to work effectively across engineering, product, and design teams, and to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Customer Service and Training capabilities to understand user needs in wealth management, provide product guidance, and support onboarding and continuous improvement.
Experience leading front-end teams or projects, with a track record of mentoring developers and owning end-to-end delivery of complex features.
Familiarity with wealth management, fintech, or data-heavy applications, including security and privacy considerations, is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating ownership, adaptability, and a willingness to work with equity-based compensation structures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred, but candidates with strong portfolios and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
