Role Description This full-time, on-site Service Engineer role is based in New Delhi. The Service Engineer will perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and carry out repairs to ensure reliable operation of customer equipment. Responsibilities include conducting field visits to client sites, installing and commissioning equipment, and providing technical support and guidance to users. The role involves documenting service activities, preparing service reports, maintaining tools and spare parts inventory, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems. The Service Engineer will also communicate clearly with customers, explain findings and recommendations, and support continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or control-related equipment issues.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and working in varied industrial environments.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for explaining technical issues, writing clear service reports, and coordinating with customers and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including guiding users, answering product-related queries, and escalating complex cases when needed.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations safely and efficiently.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, or related field) is preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, with basic computer literacy and familiarity with service documentation tools.
Willingness to travel locally within New Delhi and nearby regions, with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
