Role Description The First Line Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for leading and supervising a team to achieve business objectives in the assigned territory. This role involves planning and executing sales and operational activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The First Line Manager will provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members, support their development, and foster a positive, performance-oriented work environment. Daily responsibilities include analyzing market data, identifying growth opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships (such as healthcare professionals and channel partners), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align local activities with overall organizational goals. The role requires consistent field presence, regular reporting, and proactive problem-solving to ensure targets are met and service quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong People Management skills, including team leadership, performance supervision, and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and operational metrics for informed decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for engaging with team members, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Operations Management capabilities to plan territory activities, allocate resources, and ensure process adherence.
Candidates should possess Training skills to coach team members, conduct product and process training, and support continuous skill development.
Relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare operations, preferably in a frontline management role.
Strong understanding of compliance, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic digital tools (CRM systems, MS Office) and willingness to adopt new technologies.
