Role Description The Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttarakhand, India. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and utilities to ensure smooth and safe operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance plans, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating timely repairs to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Engineer will work closely with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate maintenance records, recommending equipment upgrades, and assisting in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to ensure reliable operation of production machinery.
Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering skills for planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities.
Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to reduce equipment failures and improve overall plant efficiency.
Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills to safely diagnose and resolve electrical issues in equipment and systems.
Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of safety standards, basic PLC/automation concepts, and familiarity with manufacturing environments.
Candidates should have strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should be able to work on-site in shifts as required and maintain clear documentation of maintenance activities.
