Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Vice President of Finance to lead the company’s overall financial strategy, financial performance, planning, and corporate finance functions.
This executive will work closely with the CEO, CFO, executive leadership team, and business unit leaders to strengthen financial performance, support strategic decision-making, optimize capital allocation, and establish scalable financial practices. The EVP of Finance will play a critical role in connecting financial strategy with the company’s long-term growth and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s corporate objectives.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management activities.
Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership team on strategic financial decisions and business planning.
Establish financial targets, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance management processes.
Oversee financial forecasting and provide accurate, timely analysis of revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and business performance.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop long-term financial models, business plans, investment analyses, and strategic financial recommendations.
Lead initiatives focused on profitability improvement, cost optimization, capital efficiency, and sustainable financial growth.
Collaborate with accounting, treasury, FP&A, operations, sales, marketing, and other functions to strengthen financial performance.
Evaluate major investments, business opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
Support capital allocation decisions and develop financial strategies that maximize long-term business value.
Establish and maintain strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
Oversee financial reporting and management reporting processes to ensure accurate and actionable financial information.
Lead finance transformation initiatives involving technology, automation, data analytics, systems integration, and process optimization.
Develop standardized financial processes and reporting practices across business units and operating functions.
Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, strategic objectives, and market conditions.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to strengthen the company’s financial resilience and operating performance.
Prepare executive-level financial presentations, forecasts, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Support mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, restructuring, market expansion, and other major corporate initiatives.
Provide executive leadership with regular updates regarding financial performance, forecasts, opportunities, risks, and strategic priorities.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and financial management teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced professional qualification preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in finance, corporate finance, financial planning, accounting, investment management, or a related field.
Significant experience in senior or executive-level financial leadership.
Proven track record of improving financial performance, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and capital efficiency.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise-level financial strategies.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Experience evaluating investments, business cases, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and other major financial decisions.
Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, risk management, and corporate financial processes.
Experience with financial systems, data analytics, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex financial information into clear strategic recommendations.
Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority financial initiatives in a fast-paced executive environment.
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
