Role Description The Catering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon, responsible for overseeing daily catering operations across corporate, industrial, and retail service points. This role includes planning menus, coordinating food production and service schedules, and ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. The Catering Manager will manage staff rosters, train team members, and monitor performance to maintain service quality and efficiency. The role involves interacting with clients, handling feedback and service issues, and collaborating with internal teams to meet contractual commitments and improve customer satisfaction. The Catering Manager will also track inventory, control costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company processes.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations.
Practical experience in Catering management, including event and institutional catering.
Ability to work effectively in customer-facing environments with excellent Customer Service skills.
Exposure to large-scale Cooking or kitchen operations, with an understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Experience leading and motivating operational teams in hospitality or food service settings.
Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon with flexibility for operational hours.
Relevant qualification in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality is preferred.
Familiarity with ISO or similar quality systems and basic MS Office skills are an advantage.
