Role Description The District Feedstock Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for managing and optimizing the supply of agricultural and other biological feedstock within the assigned district. Day-to-day activities include identifying and onboarding new suppliers, maintaining relationships with farmers and aggregators, and negotiating pricing and contract terms in alignment with company standards. The role involves monitoring feedstock quality and quantity, coordinating logistics and storage, and ensuring timely delivery to processing facilities. The District Feedstock Manager will track key performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with operations, quality, and finance teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This position also requires staying informed about local market trends, regulatory requirements, and sustainability practices relevant to feedstock sourcing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in supply chain management, vendor management, and feedstock procurement within agricultural or bio-based industries.
Candidates should possess skills in negotiation, stakeholder relationship management, and community engagement, with the ability to build trust with farmers and local partners.
Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and basic financial understanding to evaluate costs, volumes, and performance indicators.
Candidates should possess skills in planning, logistics coordination, and inventory management to ensure consistent and reliable feedstock availability.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, supply chain, environmental sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in agricultural sourcing, bioenergy, biomass, or related sectors within a regional or district role is an advantage.
Ability to travel within the district, work on-site with suppliers, and adhere to health, safety, and compliance standards.
