Role Description The Corporate Controller for the Google Cloud Arcade Facilitator Program oversees all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance for the program. This full-time remote role is responsible for managing monthly close processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and relevant regulations. The Corporate Controller will develop and maintain financial policies, monitor program budgets, and provide analysis and forecasts that support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day activities include supervising accounting activities, partnering with leadership on financial planning, coordinating audits, and implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial practices with program goals and long-term growth plans.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance in a corporate or program environment.
Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and spreadsheet software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with remote, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
Experience in technology, cloud services, education programs, or non-profit initiatives is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
