Role Description The Supervisor role at MeatMyNeeds is a part-time remote position responsible for coordinating daily operations across inspection, processing, storage, and delivery workflows. The Supervisor will oversee team schedules and performance, monitor compliance with food safety and quality standards, and support efficient communication between farm partners, logistics providers, and customers. This role includes reviewing operational reports, tracking key performance indicators, and escalating issues related to safety, delays, or service quality. The Supervisor will collaborate with leadership to improve processes, support training of team members, and help ensure that customer expectations are consistently met. Work hours may vary based on operational needs, with an emphasis on remote coordination and digital communication tools.
Qualifications
Strong operations and coordination skills, including experience overseeing workflows, managing schedules, and monitoring performance in a service or supply-chain environment.
Proficiency with digital tools and remote communication platforms for supervising teams, maintaining records, and tracking deliveries or service outcomes.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, or public health principles; experience in agriculture, veterinary services, logistics, or related fields is an advantage.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and continuous process improvement.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and interact professionally with partners and customers.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate integrity and accountability, and adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
Relevant post-secondary education or professional training in operations management, supply chain, food science, veterinary science, or a related discipline is preferred.
