Global Marketing Vice President
Core Responsibilities:
Set the overall marketing strategy globally and own revenue outcomes; develop marketing strategies that align with business objectives, owning marketing-sourced pipeline contribution
Define and execute the global marketing strategy aligned with business priorities and growth objectives across brand, digital, growth, communications, product marketing, events, partnerships, and regional marketing
Lead and develop a global marketing organization spanning Brand & Communications, Digital Marketing & MarTech, Commercial Enablement, and Regional Marketing across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC
Architect integrated campaign strategy and drive demand generation, ensuring communication of differentiated value propositions across client segments
Lead geo-specific marketers in localizing strategy, messaging, and content to address market requirements while maintaining global brand consistency
Build and strengthen the company's global brand positioning, messaging, and market presence across all markets and customer segments
Drive integrated marketing campaigns to support customer acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and market expansion
Scale user lifecycle marketing programs to drive engagement, expansion, and retention campaigns in close partnership with Commercial teams and Sales Enablement
Lead the transformation of AI-powered marketing including personalization at scale, generative content, and intent signals
Advance digital marketing, marketing operations, analytics, and customer engagement capabilities including SEO/SEM, social media, content strategy, email marketing, and paid media programs
Partner with Brand, Communications, and Product Marketing leads to deliver cohesive messaging, brand building, and message testing
Collaborate on product launch campaigns that articulate clear use cases and capabilities for each segment and persona
Partner closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, regional leaders, operations, finance, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
Lead regional marketing teams and ensure alignment between global strategy and local market execution
Oversee media outreach, product PR, thought-leadership initiatives, and influencer marketing programs with agency partners around the world
Establish marketing KPIs, reporting systems, and data-driven processes to measure campaign performance and marketing ROI
Lead market research, competitive analysis, customer insights, and audience segmentation to inform strategic decisions
Own the global marketing budget and optimize investments to maximize business impact; manage agency relationships and vendor partnerships
Foster a high-performing, collaborative marketing organization through coaching, talent development, and continuous improvement
Build a relevant and competitive brand platform, creative system, and compelling communications programs that connect and resonate with audiences across all business units
Typical Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
20+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including executive responsibility for global marketing organizations
10+ years in senior global marketing leadership roles (VP, SVP, CMO) with P&L or revenue accountability
Deep expertise in global marketing strategy, brand management, integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, and demand generation
Strong knowledge of marketing technology stack, marketing operations, analytics, and performance measurement
Proven track record building and establishing brands, setting strategy, and turning customer insights into compelling creative and campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes
Experience leading global marketing in complex, multi-region, multi-brand environments (technology, SaaS, B2B, B2C, consumer electronics, e-commerce, media, healthcare, financial services, clean energy)
Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presence; ability to influence C-suite, board, and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making mindset; expertise in using analytics, KPIs, and market research to drive priorities
Experience in relevant industry verticals (technology, SaaS, B2B, B2C, consumer electronics, e-commerce, media, healthcare, financial services, clean energy, professional services)
Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools, and digital marketing channels
Both B2C and B2B marketing experience ideal; international experience a strong asset
Ability to attract talent, build and motivate teams, and cultivate effective relationships with agency partners
Financially savvy; understands how to business case effort vs. outcome aimed at material returns for the brand and business
Ability to balance vision and passion with streamlined processes, execution, and budget management
Puts customer insights into action, operating with a global mindset while delivering on local market needs
Willingness to travel extensively (40–60%) for regional visits, stakeholder meetings, and industry events
