Role Description The Data Analyst – Business Intelligence & Data Reporting Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Cumming, GA. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data from multiple internal systems to support business decisions and performance monitoring. The specialist will design and maintain reporting dashboards, generate recurring and ad hoc reports, and translate complex data findings into clear insights for stakeholders across the organization. Daily activities include building data models, performing statistical analyses, identifying trends and anomalies, and collaborating with business partners to define reporting requirements. The role also involves presenting results in a concise, accessible format and recommending data-driven improvements to operations, sales, and customer service processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex datasets and support business intelligence initiatives.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Statistics to perform quantitative analyses, validate findings, and support data-driven recommendations.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to structure, optimize, and maintain data sources for reporting and dashboard creation.
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and proficiency with SQL or related query languages.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and commitment to data quality and integrity.
Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services analytics is beneficial but not required.
